About Lina
I teach statistics to people who were put off by it the first time. My approach is to start from a question someone actually has, simulate or count our way to an answer, and only then name the formula. I have worked as an analyst on survey and health research projects, so I have a soft spot for messy samples, honest uncertainty and careful wording. I will push you to say what a number means in a full sentence, because that is where most statistical mistakes show up. I do not use jargon until you need it, and then I explain it.

Clear and kind. The relative versus absolute risk lesson changed how I read health news.
- Marcus J.Sample
No formulas and yet I learned more than in a whole term at school.
- Priyanka D.Sample
Strong on multiple comparisons. Our dashboard was testing dozens of segments and nobody had corrected for it.
- Kwesi B.Sample
The weighting lesson was clear and honest about limits. The AI coding workflow with spot checks is now how we handle comments.
- Ama O.Sample
The guest list framing is so simple and so useful. We changed how we sample our customer survey after this.

Good explanation of why our huge feedback dataset was biased. The AI training data example was a nice touch.
