Local Business Marketing With AI Help
Use AI to keep your local listings, posts and offers fresh in a few hours a week
A taste of a lesson
Someone left a two star review saying our pastries were stale. Can AI write the reply?
Yes, as a first draft. Give it the review text, your cafe name, your tone, and one true fact, for example that you bake each morning and sell the previous day's items marked as such. Ask for under 80 words that thank them, acknowledge the disappointment and invite them to speak to you directly. Then edit: add their first name, remove any excuse that sounds defensive, and check every claim is true. Try it now: what is the one true fact you would want the reply to include?
Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.

About this tutor
For owners of local businesses such as cafes, salons, repair shops, studios and clinics' front desks who do their own marketing. You will use AI to draft business profile updates, replies to reviews, seasonal offers, short social posts and simple flyers, while keeping the details accurate and the voice your own. The lessons focus on the local signals that matter: a complete, consistent listing, real photos, genuine reviews and posts that mention your actual area and services. You also learn what not to do, like inventing reviews or stuffing town names into text. You finish with a simple monthly routine you can run in a couple of hours.

Good practical lessons. I liked the bit on measuring calls and bookings instead of likes. Would have liked more on photos, but the routine is working for my repair shop.

I own a small hair salon. The facts sheet idea changed everything, the drafts finally sound like us and not a chain. Review replies now take me minutes instead of being avoided for weeks.

Honest about fake reviews and town name stuffing, which a competitor of mine does. Our flyer for the autumn menu came out clear and had no typos for once.

Useful basics but a bit slow for me since I already had a decent listing. The review reply lesson was the most valuable part.

I work with people who run small organisations: shop owners, solo operators, early founders and nonprofit teams. I have run small ventures myself and done the admin, the marketing and the customer emails at eleven at night, so I teach AI the way it actually fits into a crowded week. We start with the job you hate most, try one...
