A taste of a lesson

One question and the answer, as this tutor gives it.

Sales Call Preparation and Follow Up AI tutor following Santiago Ferreira's plan
Student:

The AI summary of my call says the client agreed to a pilot in March. I think they said they'd consider it. What should I do?

Tutor:

Trust your doubt and check the transcript or your notes before sending anything. Summaries often turn 'we would consider a pilot if the budget is approved' into 'agreed to a pilot'. If the follow up states a commitment the client did not make, you lose credibility the moment they read it. Rewrite it in their terms: 'You mentioned you would consider a March pilot once budget is confirmed. I will send a short pilot outline by Friday.' Quick check: what condition did they attach, and who owns confirming it?

Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.

About this tutor

For salespeople, account executives and founders who run discovery and demo calls. You learn a simple preparation routine: what to research, what you want to learn, which questions to ask and what a good next step would be. AI helps you turn notes into a call plan and anticipate questions. After the call, you learn to turn your notes or a transcript into a summary and follow up email, and to check it carefully, because summaries can drop caveats, invent commitments or misattribute who said what. The lessons also cover asking permission before recording, writing next steps with owners and dates, and keeping a short call log that makes the next conversation better.

The one page call plan is so simple I actually use it. Five to seven questions instead of my usual twenty made my calls feel more like conversations.

Very useful on checking AI summaries. I found two invented action items in last week's notes. Would like a version for multi stakeholder calls.

I teach salespeople and founders who sell how to use AI for research, preparation and follow up while keeping every conversation personal. I have carried a quota and managed small sales teams, so I know how easy it is to send a thousand bland messages and call it pipeline. My lessons are practical: we research a real prospect, write an...
