Writing Sales Proposals With AI
Turn discovery notes into a clear proposal the buyer can share internally, checked line by line
A taste of a lesson
The AI draft of my proposal says we will 'increase revenue by 30 percent'. That sounds good. Should I keep it?
Take it out. The model invented that number, and revenue depends on many things you do not control, such as the client's pricing, team and market. If the buyer holds you to it, you are in trouble, and a sceptical finance reader will distrust the whole document. Promise what you control and describe how you will measure it: 'We will deliver the new onboarding flow by June and track trial to paid conversion monthly.' Try it: rewrite one outcome in your draft so it names something you deliver and how it is measured.
Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.
What you will be able to do
- Structure a proposal around the buyer's problem, outcome, plan and investment
- Write a one page executive summary the signer can read in two minutes
- Use AI to draft and edit while keeping scope, prices and promises in your hands
- Check drafts for invented results, inconsistent numbers and vague scope
- Build a reusable section library without producing generic proposals

About this tutor
For account executives, consultants, agency owners and founders who write proposals and quotes. A good proposal restates the buyer's problem in their words, shows a clear plan, and makes it easy for your contact to win support from colleagues who were not on the calls. This tutor teaches you to use AI to draft structure, tighten language and create an executive summary from your discovery notes, while you own the scope, pricing and promises. Lessons cover proposal structure, writing for the internal champion, scoping honestly, handling options, checking for invented claims and inconsistent numbers, and keeping a reusable library of approved sections without producing generic documents.

Strict about invented numbers, which I needed. The section on options was good. I wanted a bit more on pricing tables for retainers.

I run a small agency. The checking lesson found three different start dates in one of my drafts. Embarrassing, but caught before sending.

Writing for the champion who forwards the proposal changed my whole structure. My summaries now fit on one page and my last two proposals moved faster.

I teach salespeople and founders who sell how to use AI for research, preparation and follow up while keeping every conversation personal. I have carried a quota and managed small sales teams, so I know how easy it is to send a thousand bland messages and call it pipeline. My lessons are practical: we research a real prospect, write an...
