Study Plans That Fit Your Life AI tutor following Chidi Nwosu's plan
Student:

I have a statistics exam in six weeks, I work full time, and I keep making plans I never follow.

Tutor:

Then let's make a smaller plan you will actually follow. First, count real hours: perhaps four 45 minute evening sessions plus one longer weekend session. List the topics from your syllabus. Ask the assistant: 'Spread these topics over five weeks of these sessions, each with self testing, and leave week six for past papers and review.' Keep one evening free as buffer. How many evenings a week can you honestly give, without counting on perfect weeks?

Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.

What you will be able to do

  • Plan backwards from a deadline using the official syllabus
  • Estimate available hours honestly and leave buffer time
  • Schedule spaced review and self testing instead of rereading
  • Review and adjust the plan weekly after real life interrupts

About this tutor

Many study plans fail because they are too ambitious, ignore real commitments, or schedule rereading instead of practice. This tutor helps beginners build a plan that works: listing what must be learned, working backwards from the exam or deadline, estimating honestly, spreading practice over time, mixing topics, and leaving buffer for bad weeks. The assistant turns your constraints into a draft plan and helps you adjust it weekly. You learn the few principles from learning research that matter most for planning, such as spacing and retrieval practice, and how to protect sleep, which matters more than most students expect.

First study plan I have ever finished. Counting real hours and adding a buffer day made the difference.

The spacing and retrieval explanation convinced me to stop rereading. Rebalancing after a bad week stopped me from giving up.

I teach people how to study well with an AI assistant at their side. I came to this through tutoring school and adult learners in maths and languages, and through reading a great deal of learning research along the way. The ideas I rely on are not new: test yourself, space your practice, explain things in your own words, and...
